Consultation & Engineering:

Our consultation process begins with your phone call. Once one of our representatives assesses the needs of your organization, they will put you in contact with one of our commercial sales partners. The first step is commonly a phone conference or in-person meeting with your sales partner. They will work closely with your point-of-contact to evaluate the needs, expectations, and wishes of the end-users from your organization. Our primary goal during this period is to ensure that the objectives your company has for their audio/video needs can be met while remaining within your budget.

The next phase in this process is engineering your new audio/video system. We understand that the structural needs for every business are often complex and vary from building to building. The details required for this plan can usually be obtained over the phone for simple installations and upgrade; larger or more complex installations may require an in-person site survey. The KS Audio Video sales partner will propose a plan based on the findings from these inquiries.

Recommendations & Proposal:

Based on the information collected during the consultation and engineering phase of the process, the KS Audio Video sales partner will develop a plan with such information as equipment specifications, layout design, scope of work, and result summary.

At this point in the process we strive to ensure that our clients’ needs are addressed by our recommendations and the proposed system. This is the time that the customer should voice any concerns regarding the proposal and installation recommendations. It is essential that the KS Audio Video representative sees ‘eye-to-eye’ with the customer regarding the end-user requirements and the client expectations.

Once you as the client have had a chance to review the system proposal, your KS Audio Video representative will provide to you the required paperwork to proceed with the installation including a sales proposal, any supplements, programming paperwork, etc.

Installation & Education:

Once all required paperwork has been completed and received by our office, your representative will coordinate an installation schedule between you and our office. Availability varies throughout the year and special orders may require an extended lead time to allow for shipment arrival. Usually, we can schedule jobs within seven days of receiving your sign-off on the job proposal.

Your installation will be completed by a certified professional technician(s). All of our technicians are subject to our background and drug screening programs. After your installation has been completed in a timely and professional manner, our technician will ensure that all authorized personnel are properly trained and oriented to your new system. This is also the time when any questions/concerns regarding installation or operation should be addressed.

Please read Guidelines to Commercial Installations for some helpful hints to make your commercial installation go as smoothly as possible.
